Traditional Funeral Services
A traditional funeral service is when the body of your loved one is present. Generally, the traditional service option consists of a visitation the day and/or night before the funeral. The funeral service itself is held at either our facility, in a church or other location. There is then a procession following the funeral to the cemetery for a committal service.
For those families preferring cremation, we offer many options. When making cremation arrangements, we will help guide the family through all the options available to them.
The Funeral Service and Cremation | Many people see the value in selecting a service with a visitation and funeral service followed by the cremation. After the cremation, a public or private inurnment of the ashes can take place, or the remains can be returned to the family.
The Memorial Service and Cremation | Families may select an immediate cremation followed by a memorial service. A memorial service differs from a funeral service in that the body is not present at a memorial service. The cremated remains are usually present at the memorial service in an urn. Memorial services may be held in our facility, at a church or other facility.
Immediate Cremation | Cremation can also be selected without any visitation, viewing or ceremony.

Preplanning your funeral or the funeral of a loved one is one of the most thoughtful things you can do for your family. We realize that it is not always an easy thing to talk about. We can help you make the necessary arrangements now, so that when the time comes, your family is secure in the knowledge they’re doing what you would have wanted.
We feel that it is important that pre-arrangements are completed with the assistance of on of our licensed funeral directors, the one who will actually be directing the service. One of our funeral directors, not a funeral salesman, can meet with you at our funeral home or at your home, whichever you prefer.
Steps in the pre-arrangement process include:
•Gathering personal biographical information and service information. This may be done by filling out the pre-planning form found on this web site. You may also call our funeral home and receive a free funeral pre-arrangement guide, or make an appointment to meet with one of our funeral directors.
•Selecting services and merchandise that best fits your needs.
•Prepayment options can be discussed to help you find which option works best for you. Prepaying for your funeral eliminates the financial worries for your family.
One of the benefits of pre-arranging is that you are in control of all phases of this process. This will all help take a lot of the decision making and stress from your family at the time of your funeral.
