Ardyth E. Hagemeier

Ardyth E. Hagemeier, 82 years of age, of R. DeWitt, NE. passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday morning, June 13, 2012. She was born on February 11, 1930 at Boulder, Colorado to James and Elizabeth (Ross) Rulla. Ardyth has lived in the Beatrice area most of her life and was a 1948 graduate of Beatrice High School. Ardyth and Harlan Hagemeier were married on December 27, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. She had been employed as an office manager at several area businesses and she was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Family was very important to Ardyth and she was known as a devoted and faithful wife, mother, and grandmother. Ardyth enjoyed drawing, reading, listening to music, and collected angels.

Survivors include her husband Harlan; 2 daughters Jeanette Faulder and husband Scott of R. DeWitt, and Julie Hagemeier of Lincoln; grandson Nick Faulder of R. DeWitt; and step grandson Brett Faulder of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Elizabeth (Ross) Rulla.

Private funeral services will be held at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice on Monday, June 18, 2012 with Reverend Del Wiemers and Reverend William Jurgens officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul (Soap Creek) Cemetery, R. DeWitt. There will be no public viewing or visitation. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in charge. You may sign Ardyth's guest book and view her video tribute when completed at www.ghchapel.com.
